Rumors that Daft Punk will tour again have emerged with a mysterious website. The website with the url Alive2017.com appeared online this week and fans are going crazy.
The robots have only toured twice- once in 1997 and once in 2007. Both Daft Punk tours were named ‘Alive’ and were a decade apart. If the duo goes on tour in 2017, it will had to the tradition of touring every ten years.
The website displays the word “ALIVE” in big letter and features hidden numbers, which has fans coming up with theories as to what it all means. Users on Reddit and Tumblr have decoded the website’s hidden messages and have found coordinates corresponding to cities Paris, Los Angeles, London, New York, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Ibiza, and Indio.
For now we will all have to wait and see if the rumors are true. Who’s Touring Now will keep to updated if Daft Punk tours in 2017.
